| So, Thanksgiving was nice. Eric's grandma was recently in the hospital, so she wasn't there, which was sad. But we went and visited her later in the day and I know she really appreciated it. She's doing a lot better now. But other than that food and family was wonderful. And of course, we watched the game.
In the morning, I went to the YMCA and took a spinning class, which I had never done before. Oh, it's doesn't sound too hard, but oh my goodness, it was hard! I came out a sweaty beast. So I had no reservations eating dessert that day.
I love the holidays, but with it comes so many parties, and things to do. Eric and I don't have a free weekend until after Christmas. So hanging out and seeing friends will have to be week night affairs. But it's fun.

| To all those who still read and update. I love getting the Xanga digest emails. I always love reading when people update, it's nice. But it's usually rare, which makes it a little surprise when I open up my hotmail to see one waiting to be read. I know it's random to say, but it's what I think. Why else would the few of us left update at all then?
And now I am the one updated. It's been a while.
So there are a few different things happening that I am not sure you all know about. One being that I don't work at Res Life anymore. I quick that job back in June. It was the right decision for me to make at the time and I am loving where I'm at right now. Currently I manage Plato's Closet which is a clothing store on Canal and Rivertown Parkway. I work with some great people and we try to always have fun. But it does have it's own stresses though. Upside is that I get to go to church wherever I desire now. That actually has been one of the most freeing things about it.
And I am unsure about the next several months because I am enrolling at school. That's the other update. I am really excited about it actually and can't wait to see what happens. I am starting off with only about two classes, but if I like it, I will take on a bigger load next semester. I have always loved learning but never went to school out of high school because I got offered a full-time administrative position within three months of graduating. The job was a blessing, but now I am ready to do what I enjoy again. I am actually really nerdy about school. Once I decided I wanted to go, I couldn't wait to buy pencils and notebooks and a laptop case. I know, it's ridiculous. So we'll see how well I balance family, husband, school, friends and full-time job.
Man, over the last two minutes of typing I realized that I really like updating. It will have to become a more steady habit. If I have time.
Oh and ps. It's not important but I think it's fun. I am going to audition for a hair show this weekend. So I may update my profile pic with a sweet new do. I'm crossing my fingers.

| I know it's been a while, so I apologize. Actually, I don't. No one ever uses this anymore, but for some reason I post just in case. I feel a bit obligated to since this was like the original myspace/facebook back in the day. Crazy things have been happening around these parts, but I am doing okay. Life is changing so I'm just kind of rolling with it right now. I am in an "in between" stage. I have just resigned from Res Life and am transitioning over to Plato's Closet. I will be going from administrative assistant to store manager. I am nervous like nobody's business, but I am really excited at the same. My last day will be a week from Thursday, June 12. I had my first day at Plato's Closet yesterday. First days are always a little awkward. You come in to work, but yet you have no earthly idea what to do. So you just ask a lot of questions and pretty much do the mindless work until you're comfortable with a new thing. But it was a lot of fun, and I already found some cute clothes. I enjoyed my time at Res Life, but am looking forward to moving on. So come and see me at the 411 table for the last time. Because I definitely won't be doing it for fun. See everyone around. | | |
| Man, life has been really crazy lately. Not just in how busy we are, but just crazy stuff that's going on around us. I have never been in a situation like this before. And I have never had to make these decisions before. Life's kind of uncertain and it's pretty excited and at the same time ridiculously scary. I am definitely learning to trust God and my husband. I know I will be so much stronger on the other side. I just have to trust and see what happens next. I'm definitely in the middle of an adventure I've never embarked on before.
In other, less depressing news, I became a total rebel yesterday. I officially got my first and last tattoo. It was definitely a painful half hour. But I think it looks sweet when it's not aching as I walk. I have to look at it about every five minutes to make sure it's still there and I'm not dreaming. I keep waiting for it to come off like a henna tattoo. I went with Brook and we definitely broke each other's hands. Brook, I'm sorry for cutting off your circulation and making your hand as red as a tomato.
I have a baby shower today, for my cousin Linda whom I love to pieces. It shall be fun. Also Spiderman 3 tonight with Brook and Aaron, along with some sweet Buffalo Wild Wings. And then a first communion and a graduation party tomorrow.
So there are my crazy times, hopefully everyone is doing well. No crazy times for you.
| It's been a very long time, sorry Lauren. But you'll be here soon and then there we will be speaking without typing, yeah!
December has been crazy hectic. And it is only going to continue. It's crazy that Christmas is on Monday and I can hardly bring myself to listen to Christmas music. Man, it just needs to snow, even if only a little. I only have two Christmas parties done. That means, I have time with the fam and also two more Christmas parties the week after Christmas.
Lisa, I am bringing Snicker Salad, so don't worry.
There are so many people home right now. I like it. Civdog is home, yeah! And the last couple days been spent with Becker. Always fun times. Lauren is here soon, also a yeah! I am definitely looking forward to her wonderful presence.
Have a merry Christmas and happy New Year everyone!
